When considering permanent cosmetics, ensure your safety and satisfaction with the end result by being as informed as possible. Price should not govern your decision. You get what you pay for. Always consider the following:

Verify the technician is a member in good standing of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) and that they have passed the CPCP exam, certifying them as a Certified Cosmetic Professional.

Ask to see their documentation. Do they have a business license? Does the local health department license him/her and their place of business? Check with the BBB and local health department to ensure there are no violations against them.

Inquire about the technician’s education and training. It should be extensive and ongoing.

Every artist paints the canvas differently. Experience is crucial. Never consider anyone without at least one year’s experience. Examine his/her portfolio and get 5-10 references.

Have a preliminary consultation. The environment should be comfy and their instrumentation should include a dry heat sterilizer or autoclave as all instruments must be either sterilized or completely disposable. Have the tech demonstrate his/her sterilization techniques.

For your peace of mind, we recommend you speak with several professionals. It will give you a better understanding of who is most knowledgeable, and confident about giving you the desired results. In your initial consultation, a qualified technician will:

Be concerned with safety.

Relate to your needs, i.e. color analysis, color blending, and shape desires. Does he/she offer good suggestions?

Explain your procedure thoroughly.

Discuss any medical issues and current medications. Certain medical conditions can affect results.

Ask lots of questions. After all, it is going to be permanent.

“I have a medical condition that causes my right eye to water all of the time, which resulted in me walking around with eyeliner only on one eye by the end of the day. Michelle permanently fixed the problem! I have had my eyeliner a year and it still looks great and I brag to my friends that it is the best money I ever spent on myself!”

Patty Davis

“Permanent make up is great because I used to have no lips or eyebrows. I have had people ask me if I have had a facelift. Running late is no problem now... just put on powder, blush & mascara and your ready to go. Thanks Michelle for making me beautiful.”

Gina Alexander

Realtor, Carrollton GA

“I love my new lips and eyeliner! Friends and family tease me I’ve had collagen treatments. And only recently has my husband quit asking me to wear my makeup to bed!
But seriously, Michelle’s approach is far superior to other permanent cosmetics professionals I used in the past. She put me at ease, educated me about the procedures and aftercare, and was extremely conscientious about proper medical techniques.”

Joli Tripp

Realtor, Marietta GA

“I actually won my permanent eyeliner through a raffle, but absolutely love it! I was so pleased with Michelle and her talents that I purchased the procedure for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Since then, I have referred Michelle to several of my co-workers in Newnan. Michelle is a perfectionist and it shows!”

Cricket Strickland

“After my permanent cosmetic procedures, my son thought for months that I was still getting up early to apply make-up. He was shocked when I finally revealed my secret — in fact, he's still kind of mad at me for duping him. But really, I feel better and I look better — it has definitely improved my attitude. I can't express my appreciation enough to Michelle.”
